Wenzhou Qingming Chemical Co., Ltd. was formerly kown as Wenzhou Qingming Chemical Factory. Qingming Chemical Factory was founded in 1942, and it is one of the earliest fine chemical factories in China. In July 2002, the company was turned into limited liability company and it passed the ISO9001 certification in 2003. In 2005, the company was moved to Wenzhou Industrial park. At present, Qingming is a professional production base of food additive and epoxy resin curing agent in China.
The company specializes in manufacturing food additives dominated by sorbitan fatty acid ester series (Span series) and polyoxyethylene sorbitan carboxylic ester series (Tween series); epoxy resin active tenacity improvers and curing agents dominated by CMP410, methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, polysebacic polyanhydride, and industrial surfactants dominated by PEG264 oleate, polyoxyethylene castor oil, fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylene ether, and etc. The company has established cooperation relations with colleges, universities and research institutions to adjust product mix and to develop marketable products. At present, Qingming has developed into a professional manufacturer of featured fine chemical auxiliaries. Our products are renowned in domestic and international markets.
The quality and production scale of our Span and Tween food additives occupy advanced level in China. These series products have won Feitian Award in the first national food additive exhibition; in 1992, they won excellent award in national light industry expo. In April 2003, Wenzhou Qingming Chemical Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "top-100 enterprises in food additive and food ingredient industry in China". Moreover, Qingming is the drafting unit of national standard of food additive Span-60 and Span-80. In 2008, the company drafted the national standard of food additive Tween-60, Tween-80, Span-20, and Span-40. In recent years, the products have passed the Kosher certification, and they are exported to EC, Africa, Southeast Asia, and other countries and regions, and they are highly praised by clients both at home and abroad. 
The company is vice chairman of China Epoxy Resins Applied Technology Institute, and its HK-021 (methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride) filled the domestic gap in the field in 1982. For 20 years' effort, the quality of HK-021 has reached international advanced level.
